This cute little container is unfortunately in poor vintage condition on the inside, suffering from rust and verdigris, the greenish patenia which forms on brass and copper (see last picture.) The outside, hinge, and clapse are all in great condition, the lid closes securely, and there are no dents. The beautiful beacon pattern on the lid is clearly visable with only small signs of use and is a typical art deco motif.
